The author describes as a prerequisite a title of ownership on data. This is implemented by means of Big Data, whose techniques are designed in such a way that data can become a "tradable" commodity by documenting how data has been used, by whom and for what purpose. Transparent use also in terms of usefulness or necessity instead of concealment is proposed as a new privacy model. The synchronisation of the development of technology and society is in the foreground. Numerous case studies increase the practical use of the book.
